Kaleidoscope Krazy
Yep, I have officially gone kaleidoscope crazy! Patterns, my Cafepress store, is testament to that. Here are a few more of my favorites shown on various products since the images are smaller than my source images.
Hi Dan. Saw your comment on my blog and decided to stop in. Kaliedoscoping can be very creative. I went through a phase of kaleidoscoping almost every image, or piece of image I could find. It's such a simple thing, yet the results can be really amazing. I got some interesting results from kaliedoscoping with three "spokes", saving it and then kaleidoscoping with four or more spokes. It really mixed up the pattern in unpredictable ways. You've also probably noticed that a four "spoked" or even number spoked image makes a seamless tile. A nice to way to make background tiles without the usual blurring that goes on with seamless tile filters.
