In front of the library across the street from our house, I found this goose happily pecking up the berries that had fallen from the trees that line the front of the elementary school. Proof that feathers are good insulators!

I think the cold got to its brain. Geese don't have big ones to start with, so sitting on snow for a while probably was a poor neurological idea.
